Face Slimming and Teeth Grinding (Bruxism)
Reducing chewing muscle activity and bulk
Teeth grinding and jaw clenching, also known as bruxism, involve excessive activity of the chewing muscles. This often happens unconsciously during sleep, but may also occur during the day, particularly during periods of stress or tension.

Benefits & results
Bruxism can be associated with jaw tension, discomfort around the jaw joint, headaches and wear of the teeth. When the chewing muscles are repeatedly overactive, they may also increase in size, making the lower face appear wider or more prominent.
Treatment can reduce the activity of the masseter muscles, the main chewing muscles of the jaw. This may help reduce teeth grinding and jaw clenching while maintaining normal jaw function.
By reducing the force with which the masseter muscles contract, the treatment may help relieve jaw tension and associated discomfort. The amount of product used is tailored to the individual muscle activity and treatment goal.
Over time, the size of the chewing muscles may also decrease, which can make the lower face appear slimmer or less wide.
