Marionette lines are the lines that run from the corners of the mouth downward towards the jawline and chin. These folds often develop due to volume loss in the face and changes in muscle tension around the mouth area.

With fillers, marionette lines can be softened in a subtle way. Adding volume to the area may reduce the depth of the folds and shadowing while maintaining natural expression and facial balance.
The result is often visible immediately after treatment and may make the lines and shadowing less noticeable.
During the treatment, small amounts of filler are carefully placed beneath the skin to soften the folds and reduce shadowing around the corners of the mouth.
